Last week, visual artist and educator Kyle Holland from the University of Alabama MFA Book Arts Program visited our Creative Writing Bookmaking class for a special Lunch & Learn.
He shared insights into the program and his own artistic journey—highlighting the evolution of his work from high school to becoming a professor, and offering valuable perspective on growth and expectations along the way. 
Kyle Holland is a visual artist and instructor/studio manager for the MFA Book Arts Program at the University of Alabama. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, is held in major museum and university collections, and has been featured in prominent publications on book arts and hand papermaking.
