🎨✨ Last week, ASFA welcomed visiting artist Jasper Lee for an inspiring day of art, collaboration, and community engagement!

Jasper joined our Interdisciplinary Media Arts class for a Lunch & Learn, diving into the often-overlooked details of collaborative projects and sharing his insights on working with communities through art. He also spent time with Creative Writing instructor Mazerick Betko’s class, exploring these concepts in even greater depth.

A Central Alabama-based artist, Jasper Lee works across video, mixed media, installation, music, and sound, creating projects that explore psychogeography, alchemy, and experimental ethnography. His work has been featured internationally in festivals, galleries, and on PBS, and he continues to champion community-driven art through his Sweet Wreath label.

Thank you, Jasper, for sharing your expertise and inspiring our students to think boldly about collaboration and creativity! 🌟
