Creative Writing Hosts First Ever Playwright Showcase

The Forms of Dramatic Writing Playwriting Workshop is a collaboration across two departments. Creative Writing and Theater Arts students came together during the specialty period to learn the art of playwriting. From Aristotelian Elements of Drama to Solo Plays, they explored it all. The Playwright Showcase was the result of the hard work and creativity students displayed this semester. Attendees heard excerpts from monologues written for peers, 10-Min plays, and their final One Act play projects, a full-length play of 60 pages or more.
