The ASFA Digital Filmmaking classes went on a field trip to Boutwell Studios in Homewood to learn the ins and outs of professional sound engineering and ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement) mixing. They met with award-winning sound engineers Van Gunter and Brad Lyons, toured the facility, and even got a chance to practice in a sound booth. 
Not only was this a great opportunity for the students to learn, but it was also a chance for them to see Creative Writing faculty Erika Wade's home studio, where her work there earned EMMY awards!
