ASFA is the only school this year to have multiple seniors accepted into UAB's Early Medical School Acceptance Program (EMSAP). Acceptance to the program is highly competitive. An ASFA student is also a highly competitive endowed UAB scholarship awardee.

Ian Shen: Received the Ireland Scholarship Award, one of the three top freshman academic scholarships at UAB. This scholarship is highly competitive for the incoming class.
