Join us in congratulating our M/S Science Team students who competed in the 2025–2026 You Be The Solution Challenge, sponsored by the Chemical Education Foundation! 
A special shoutout to Durga Mamidi, Elijah Osborne, and Tristan Trotman for being named 2026 Alabama State Winners—an incredible achievement! 
With over 13,000 students competing nationwide, ASFA proudly fielded five teams. Students first tackled a fast-paced academic challenge featuring middle- to high-school-level chemistry questions, then top teams advanced to create a video project highlighting the impact of chemistry in their communities.
Winners were selected based on combined scores from both the academic competition and their video submissions, which were evaluated by a panel of judges.
